Ellwood Specialty Steel has completed the acquisition of the assets of the Walter Metals Corporation (WMC). The company, which continues operations as an independent unit, is now known as Walter Metals LLC. Walter Metals is a long established specialty distributor of Hot Work Die Steel, High Speed Steel and other special application Tool Steels. Ed Busi, an industry veteran, has been named General Manager of the company. The former owners of WMC, Chuck Mangin and Art Smyth, remain affiliated with Walter Metals LLC.
