We embrace an environment that encourages and promotes engagement and inclusion for all employees to be involved in many facets of our organization. Our open-door policy allows employees to share opinions and ideas to help solve customer problems and develop innovative solutions. We treat all employees with dignity and respect.
We are committed to meeting and exceeding the requirements of all applicable environmental regulations and standards. We strive to be good stewards of air, water, and energy resources, and practice waste-minimization in conjunction with our overall business goals. We are continuously seeking ways to lessen our environmental impact by increasing recycling, utilizing more environmentally friendly materials, and efficiently utilizing natural resources to reduce the amount of waste that is produced from our processes.
All the products we make at ELLWOOD are made in America with recycled steel. By using scrap metal to make new steel, ELLWOOD conserves energy and reduces emissions, raw materials, and natural resources.
At ELLWOOD, we have a strong history of engagement in our communities. As a family business, we know that as our communities grow, we grow. We see every community as uniquely as we see our employees, and work with each community to identify specific needs. We don’t take a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Some of our programs include student mentoring, support of local food banks, and local service or educational initiatives. We take a flexible approach to corporate giving in the neighborhoods that we live and work in, and often look to our employees for input and support.
