Ellwood was founded in 1910 by David A. Evans. David Evans Barensfeld, 4th generation, serves as Chairman of the Board and Anna Barensfeld, 5th generation, is controlling shareholder.
This continuous family ownership ensures long-term focus, independence and stability. Ben Huffman, a company veteran since 2003, has led as President and CEO since 2019.
