Ellwood Executive Reappointed to U.S. Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Steel, Continuing More Than Eight Years of Service

Ellwood is pleased to announce that Dana A. Beyeler, Senior Vice President - Defense Engagement, has been reappointed to serve on the U.S. Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Steel, ITAC-11 Steel. 

The appointment, effective July 16, 2026, continues Beyeler's service through July 16, 2030. Committee members advise the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Office of the United States Trade Representative on trade policy, international negotiations, implementation of trade agreements, and matters affecting the competitiveness of the American specialty metals industry. 

Beyeler has served continuously on the Steel Industry Trade Advisory Committee since his original appointment in February 2018, when the committee was designated ITAC 7-Steel. His reappointment extends more than eight years of uninterrupted service across successive committee terms and designations. 

Throughout that period, Ellwood has provided the Committee with the perspective of the U.S. specialty metals forging sector, reflecting the critical role that specialty metals and engineered forgings play in national defense, aerospace, naval shipbuilding, energy, heavy industry, infrastructure, and other strategically important manufacturing sectors. 

Beyeler also brings to ITAC 11-Steel a practicioner's understanding of the international trade environment developed through his ongoing engagement with allied governments, defense industries, and international organizations. His work within NATO and across Europe, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific provides real-time insight into the trade, industrial-policy, supply-chain, and national-security conditions affecting U.S. manufacturers and their allied partners.

As Senior Vice President - Defense Engagement, Beyeler leads Ellwood's engagement with the U.S. Department of Defense, allied governments, and international defense organizations to strengthen critical manufacturing capabilities, supply-chain resilience, and industrial cooperation.
