Chairman of the Board, Emeritus, Bob served as a fighter pilot in World War II. He holds a BA in Economics and Banking from Baldwin Wallace College. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1949 and retired as President in 1983.
David E. Barensfeld
Chairman, President and CEO, David holds a JD degree from Harvard Law School and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1979 and became President in 1983. He is the fourth generation of his family to head the company.
Bentraum D. Huffman
COO, Ben received a BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University and worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young for ten years. He joined Ellwood National Forge in 2003 as Controller. He moved to Ellwood City Forge in 2005 where he held the position of Director of Finance until he was appointed Vice President of Finance of Ellwood Group during 2007. Ben was promoted to CFO in February 2009 where he served until being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in February 2015.
Chief Financial Officer / Vice President of Finance, Rich received a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from Youngstown State University. He joined Ellwood Quality Steels in 1997, was Controller of Ellwood National Forge from 2005-2006, and most recently was Director of Finance at Ellwood City Forge since 2007. Rich was promoted to CFO in April 2015.
Pamela K. Vass
Vice President of Human Resources,Pam holds an AAB in Business Technology, a BSBA in Management and an MBA from Youngstown State University. She has been at Ellwood City Forge since 1992 and has served as the human resources director of EGI since 2000.
General Counsel of the Ellwood Group, Greg holds a J.D. from the Duquesne University School of Law where he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review, as well as a B.S. in Information and Decision Systems with a minor in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining EGI, he worked as the General Counsel of the Americas Region for the Eramet Group, a mining and metals company headquartered in Paris, France. Greg began his legal career with Babst Calland in Pittsburgh where he became a shareholder in 2000.
William P. Edwards
Chief Technical Officer, Bill holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a MS in Metallurgy from the University of Pittsburgh. He joined Ellwood City Forge as a Metallurgist in 1994, was promoted to Manager of Quality and Metallurgy, and joined EGI in 2015 as General Manager of Ellwood Materials Technology (EMT). In 2016, Bill was named CTO, overseeing the corporation’s technical development in the areas of process and new product development. Prior to joining EGI, Bill worked for Latrobe Steel Company as a Research Engineer.
Daniel P. Hamilton
Vice President, Corporate Strategic Account Management, Dan holds a degree in Metallurgy from Pennsylvania State University. After working in metallurgy positions with Babcock & Wilcox and Bull Moose Tube, he joined Ellwood City Forge in 1988 as Quality Manager. He became President of ECF in 2000. In 2014, he accepted a position with EGI corporate.
President, Ellwood City Forge, Scott holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Grove City College, an MBA from Xavier University and attended the Harvard Business School program for Management Development. Prior to joining Ellwood in 2006 he held various management positions at the Timken Company, Latrobe Steel and in a private management consulting firm. He was promoted to President of Ellwood Specialy Steel in 2009 and then promoted to President of Ellwood City Forge in 2015.
Michael A. Kamnikar
Mike holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Lehigh University. After working at Bethlehem Steel, Mike joined ECF as Vice President of Sales in 1981. He served as President of Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine from 1993 to 2005, and was appointed President of Ellwood National Crankshaft in 2003. In 2007, Mike was appointed EGI Senior Vice President., Marketing and Business Development. In 2014, Mike became President of North American Forgemasters.
Michael P. Barrett
President of Ellwood National Forge, Mike holds a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1994 as Assistant Controller, became Controller of Ellwood Texas Forge Houston in 1996, and then served in various roles for the Ellwood Crankshaft Group including Controller, Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Quality, General Manager and Vice President of Operations. In 2015, Mike moved to Ellwood National Forge as Executive Vice President and was named President in 2016.
Brian C. Taylor
President of Ellwood National Crankshaft, Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine and Ellwood National Crankshaft Services, Brian holds a BS in Business Administration from Westminster College and an MBA from Geneva College. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1997 as part of the sales department. He moved to Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine where he was appointed President in December 2005. In October of 2007, Brian was named President of Ellwood National Crankshaft.
Richard Allender, Jr.
President of Ellwood Texas Operations, Richard studied Business at Texas Tech University and holds a BS in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso. He joined the Ellwood group in 2007 at the Houston facility responsible for planning and logistics. In 2009 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of ETFH. Richard was named President in January 2012 over both the Houston and Navasota facilities. In February of 2017 he was promoted to President of Ellwood Texas Operations responsible for Ellwood Texas Forge Houston, Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota, Ellwood Machining and Welding and C&J Cladding.
Patrick F. Callihan
President of Ellwood Engineered Castings (EEC), Pat holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Material Science from Youngstown State University (YSU), a Master of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from YSU, and a Doctorate of Engineering in Systems Engineering, Reliability, and Quality from Cleveland State University. He joined EEC as Vice President of Technical Services in 2012, was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2013, and was named President of EEC in November 2016. Prior to joining EEC, Pat worked for Indalex Aluminum and Wheatland Tube companies.
Michael P. Morgus
President of Ellwood Quality Steels, Mike holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Cincinnati and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. After working for AK Steel in various management roles, he joined EQS in 2011 as Vice President of Operations and was appointed President of EQS in 2013.
President of Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota (ETFN), Valli holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India, and a Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He joined ETFN as Vice President and General Manager in 2008. Prior to joining ETFN, Valli worked for Metaldyne Corporation, Plymouth, MI.
President of Ellwood Specialty Steel, Rob holds a BA in Biology from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Boston University. Rob joined Ellwood Group in 2011 as Director of Business Development and has since served in multiple roles, including Director of Sales & Marketing for Ellwood Crankshaft Group and General Manager of Ellwood City Forge. Prior to joining Ellwood Group, Rob worked in marketing strategy for Microsoft Corporation.
President of C&J Cladding, John holds a BS in Welding Engineering degree from The Ohio State University. After holding several positions in engineering, quality and manufacturing in the Oil & Gas industry he joined C&J Cladding in 2011. He held roles in engineering and management at C&J Cladding and was promoted to President in November 2015.
