Robert Barensfeld
Robert Barensfeld, chairman of the board of directors, served as a fighter pilot in World War II. He holds a BA in Economics and Banking from Baldwin Wallace College. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1949 and retired as president in 1983. |

David E. Barensfeld
David Barensfeld, president and CEO, holds a JD degree from Harvard Law School and an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He joined Ellwood City Forge in 1979 and became president in 1983. He is the fourth generation of his family to head the company. |

Larry L. Symons
Larry Symons, executive vice president, received a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri and worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young for nine years. He held several positions at National Steel, including CFO. Larry became CFO of Ellwood Group in 1991. |

Susan A. Apel, Esq.
Susan Apel, vice-president legal & general counsel, holds a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. She was previously a partner at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP in Pittsburgh, PA, where she focused on corporate transactions and commercial law and worked for fourteen years. Susan also worked for Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in Washington, DC, and clerked for a federal judge in Seattle, WA. She joined the Ellwood Group in 2005, and is resident at its corporate office in Ellwood City, PA. |

Bentraum D. Huffman
Ben Huffman, CFO and treasurer, received a BS in Business Administration from West Virginia University and worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young for ten years. Ben joined Ellwood National Forge in 2003 as controller. He moved to Ellwood City Forge in 2005 where he held the position of director of finance until he was appointed vice president of finance of Ellwood Group during 2007. Ben was promoted to CFO in February 2009. |

Robert E. Rumcik
Robert E. Rumcik, president, Ellwood Quality Steels, holds a BS in metallurgy from the University of Pittsburgh. He served as an infantry officer in the US Army, including a tour of duty in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. After working as a metallurgist at Crucible Steel, he joined EGI in 1981, and has led Ellwood Quality Steels since its inception in 1985. |

Pamela K. Vass
Pamela K. Vass, vice president of human resources, holds an AAB in business technology, a BSBA in management and an MBA from Youngstown State University. She has been at Ellwood City Forge since 1992 and has served as the Human Resources director of EGI since 2000. |

Dr. Kevin J. Handerhan
Kevin J. Handerhan, chief operating officer - Forging & Casting, is responsible for Ellwood National Forge, Ellwood City Forge, Ellwood Texas Forge, Ellwood National Crankshaft, Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine and Ellwood Engineered Castings. He holds BS, MS and Ph.D degrees in metallurgical engineering and material science from Carnegie Mellon University. He started with ECF in 1982. |

Daniel P. Hamilton
Daniel P. Hamilton, president of Ellwood City Forge, holds a degree in metallurgy from Pennsylvania State University. After working in metallurgy positions with Babcock & Wilcox and Bull Moose Tube, Dan joined ECF in 1988 as quality manager. He became president of ECF in 2000. |

Scott Boyd, president, Ellwood Specialty Steel, holds a BS in metallurgical engineering from Grove City College, an MBA from Xavier University and attended the Harvard Business School program for management development. Prior to joining Ellwood in 2006 he held various management positions at the Timken Company, Latrobe Steel and in a private management consulting firm. |

Michael A. Kamnikar
Michael A. Kamnikar holds a BS in metallurgical engineering and materials science from Lehigh University. After working at Bethlehem Steel, Mike joined ECF as vice president of sales in 1981. He served as president of Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine from 1993 to 2005, and was appointed president of Ellwood National Crankshaft in 2003. In 2007, Mike was appointed EGI Senior V.P., marketing and business development. |

Glenn C. Fegely
Glenn C. Fegely holds a BS in metallurgical engineering and materials science from Lehigh University. After experience with Bethlehem Steel, Glenn worked for Cooper Industries. He joined ECF in 1989 and was appointed president of Ellwood National Forge in 2003. |

Brian C. Taylor
Brian C. Taylor, president of Ellwood National Crankshaft, Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine and Ellwood National Crankshaft Services, holds a BS in Business Administration from Westminster College and an MBA from Geneva College. Brian joined Ellwood City Forge in 1997 as part of the sales department. He moved to Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine where he was appointed president in December 2005. In October of 2007, Brian was named president of Ellwood National Crankshaft. |

Mark S. Cianci, president of Ellwood Texas Forge, holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Grove City College. Mark has held positions of increasing responsibility in the investment casting and forging industries, most recently as VP and general manager at Precision Castparts Corp. Structurals Division and Wyman Gordon Forgings. He joined EGI in 2006. |
