EGI is pleased to announce that Kenneth Brooks of Shelby Twp., Michigan is the recipient of the second annual $25,000 Metallurgy Scholarship. Ken is a student at Michigan Technological University with a major in Materials Science and Engineering. Ken carries a 3.25 GPA and is President of the Innovative Castings Enterprise program. He is also scheduled for a 2009 summer internship with the ELLWOOD Group.

A presentation of the scholarship will take place at Michigan Technological University in January 2009. We are looking forward to having Ken join us and the contributions he is sure to make.

EGI also awarded $1,000 scholarships to Corey Foster and Justin Sirrine. Corey is a student at Purdue University majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. Justin is a student at Lehigh University with a double major in Materials Science and Engineering and Integrated Business and Engineering.
